I was lucky enough to ride in the Discovery Team Car at the San Francisco Grand Prix. My wife was sitting in the front passenger seat, and I was in the back with Vince, the team mechanic. We were ripping through the streets of San Francisco at around 90MPH in order to get from the back of the pack to the front, where Jason McCartney was riding. He was in dire need of some caffein free gels in order to make it up the last major climb. I was tempted to pass him my business card instead so I could sell him a notebook later. 9.14.2005
