This has been an action filled week in I.T. I was pleased to be on the panel for AMD at the 4X 4 launch event on Tuesday and on Thursday I spent the day at the Intel Core 2 Duo launch event. I also found time to write a number of industry articles between preparing our new product line which will be announced in the near future. In the meantime I have a number of articles upcoming including some interesting stuff on AMD and IBM.
I’m pretty much slammed, but there’s always time for a break. In my downtime I like to ride my road bikes, and I also watch a little TV.
I have two shows that I absolutely love, "The Office", and "Dog Bites Man". “Dog Bites Man” is a show on Comedy Central which is like a cross between "The Office” and “Ali-G” in a mocumentary style.
“Dog Bites Man” is a comedy show about four people who claim to be a news team from Spokane Washington. They go around and conduct real human interest stories with real people (who don't know they are in a mocumentary). It is directed by the same guy who does the Ali-G show, and it's easily the funniest show I have ever seen.
I highly recommend it – unfortunately I live in Canada where we cannot get Comedy Central unless I get a pirate satellite dish, so instead I download the entire series from ITunes. It’s worth the $10 to download it (that is if you have a sense of humor).
Go download it and give us something to talk about other than I.T. next time we meet. :)

Hi Rahul
Its a hard life you lead, someones got to do it.
Did you get a peek at the 4x4 hardware.?
Was any mention of 4x4 in the crowd at the Intel event.?
regards
Southpark and Mind of Mencia rock!!
I live in Toronto and we have Comedy Central.
Have you ever watched the show "Trailer Park Boys" Rahul? If you are a fan of the Ali-G show then I'm sure you have heard of it. Pure Canadian comedic brilliance.
Imagine That
Intel welcoming fair and open competition, once again, Intel corporate execs have chosen to take the low road and show us it's uglier side. As stated here earlier, as well as elsewhere in other forums, for the continued health of the PC industry as a whole, I sincerely hope that the above corporation continues it's steady decline in popularity as well as in market/mind share. And as for it's Core 2 Duo launch, well, in my own unbiased opinion, the only thing that it has demonstrated here as far as I'm concerned as a consumer is, it (Intel) has just pulled off one of the biggest marketing scams in the history of the PC industry with it's now dated Netburst architecture and now has the gall to substantiate and/or corroborate it. Good riddance Intel, I myself prefer an industry that promotes freedom of choice, and I for one have chosen AMD, and just to prove to you how strongly I believe in my own conviction, I have, and will continue into the foreseeable future, to purchase AMD. For me, at the end of the day, it's about freedom of choice, for Intel, it's about creating and fostering an Intel only monopoly.

Sharikou, It is obvious that was you.. You know how we can tell? bitterness!
Hi Rahul
What about the 4x4? any numbers?
"my own unbiased opinion, the only thing that it has demonstrated here as far as I'm concerned as a consumer is, it (Intel) has just pulled off one of the biggest marketing scams in the history of the PC industry with it's now dated Netburst architecture ... "
Unbiased, eh?
Silly me for noticing that your comments were not only NOT unbiased, but even had an extra lovin' spoonful of hatred and malice included!
About 4x4, does AMD have some prototype motherboards for it by now or is it still 100% vaporware?
And about Sharikou, I wonder what Intel exec ran over his puppy or stole his BF/GF. Cause I'd hate to think a lesser reason could make a person that bitter.
Rahul, you just cannot get these fanboys to talk about things other than I.T . In fact, getting to talk on anything other than AMD-Intel will is impossible :)
Makes you question if these peoples have lives outside the transistors =/
Couch Potatoes vs ?
It's time for Rahul to coin a "vegatable" term to describe people who sit in front of their PCs all day/night. :)
unfortunately I live in Canada where we cannot get Comedy Central unless I get a pirate satellite dish
Do you mean "unfortunately you live in Canada", or "you live in Canada where unfortunately you cannot get CC"...?
Haha, just a funny little thing I noticed. Is this a Freudian slip, Rahul?

Wait, do they film Dog Bites Man in Spokane then? I live in Spokane and have never even heard of this show. Then again, I do not watch Comedy Central either. We have had several movies filmed here or about here in the past though.
It's nice to see you change it up! That show is hilarious. I caught my first episode this week.
Oh yeah, got any job openings?
