As I’m sure you all know HP is currently experiencing immense success under Mark Hurd. That said, with great success comes great challenge and if you’re seeking a challenge – I mean a serious challenge -- then consider the following;

We are a fast-moving, entrepreneurial team with ambitious plans for growth and innovation, and the gaming market is an incredible opportunity for HP. If you are talented, inventive, like to be inspired, and you are ready to take your game to the next level in a startup environment with serious potential; then we need you to get in here!
We are currently recruiting exceptional technical candidates with expertise in high-performance PC hardware and software systems and I/O, mechanical product design, thermal design and analysis, and system integration.
Most of the careers listed are in the Bay Area, there are also several openings in Taiwan. We have a number of requisitions opening in Calgary as well.
If you’re interested and you happen to be qualified I would encourage you to check out some of these careers online. On the other hand if you know any exceptionally talented people that might be interested in creating the world’s best gaming machines then please forward this note, and aim them in our general direction…
So like I said, if you want a truly rewarding career – and not “just a job” - get online, read the complete job descriptions, and apply. It may take a couple of days for them to appear on the site, and I will ask someone to update the blog comments with instructions :)

Really??!!
Dude, hire me! No, really!
I'm all techie and stuff!
HP is an innovating company. I worked for them until 2001 and I still admire the HP way.
From what I can see, they are still innovating strong. Dell still can not figure out how to stop them. HP and Dell are not playing the same game ;)
Wish I had the number for Kyle Felstein (former owner of All American Computers) to pass him this tidbit. AAC went under for no real fault of Kyle's, I'd love to see him designing high-end systems again..the man is a genious
Would love to work at the gaming division Rahul. I'm starting at HP on the 25th in the Home & Home Office division though. Maybe I'll see you around the campus...
I saw HP's new hiring for a procurement position in Taiwan.
I am a Singaporean working in Taiwan for the past few years and just want to give my 2 cents worth.
In Taiwan, Voodoo has a real chance of having a brand consolidation strategy. Every OEM/ODM manufacturer imaginable is here on this island.
From your LCD panels (AUO, Chimei) to your motherboards and ultra cool casing. I just bought an 22 inch LG-Phillips panel minus power supply casing and the rest for around USD200, last year.
China maybe a great place for cheap stuff. But if Voodoo is interested in value for quality, Taiwan is the place to be.
Furthermore, techies are out for hire, technically competent and passionate. However you will have to get through the cultural and language barrier. I believe Voodoo can cut production, logistics costs by more than 50% if they relocate their production facilities here. This is provided politics is stable which might prove to be elusive.
Taiwan is the birthplace of OEMs like Foxconn, Quanta, Compal and the rest. Apple, IBM, all had their products made here. Voodoo too can enjoy the same advantage.
When that is achieved, perhaps Voodoo can pass some of these cost savings to their customers and perhaps then I can afford one.
How do I apply?
