A little comic relief from all the stuff happening in the market. Click on the picture for the larger image. I personally love the ads by the way, and I can't wait to see more. Quite frankly I much prefer Microsoft's "non-bashing" ads over Apple's more aggressive ads.

A non-bashing ad campaign makes a lot more sense for Microsoft, since they are a huge market leader. Any mention of Apple or other competition only suggest that there is other worthy competition.
On the other hand, Apple's ads reflect their position, which is to eat away at Microsoft's marketshare.
Pretty typical marketing methods given each company's market position. The only time you don't really see this format is in politics, where attack ads seem to rule all campaigns...at least here in Canada.
