Each company and technology has its own set of pros and cons, much as OSX vs. Windows. What I do enjoy are various people's perspectives. I quite enjoy Rahul's vision, it inspires me. Granted AMD and Intel measure TDPs differently, but Kentsfield's 120W TDP doesn't look so bad compared to 2x125W. So much for ridiculous speculation that people could just pop in 35W X2 3800+ EEs.<BR/><BR/>Also, if 4x4 uses Socket F does that mean you'll need Registered DDR2 memory. That can't be good news considering you're likely limited to DDR2 667 with higher latencies.<BR/><BR/>Any idea what the TDP of the upcoming 2.4GHz Q6600 Kentsfield will be? With the 2.33GHz E5345 Cloverton coming in at 80W with a 1333MHz FSB something around that TDP would be perfectly reasonable for quad cores.
